St
Michael’s Farm, off the A451 between Stourport and Great Witley lies on
either side of a wooded valley in an area of great natural beauty underneath
the Abberley Hills.
It is a mixed
farm of about 110 acres. Arable
crops include cereals, sugar beet and potatoes, and there are 10 acres of
deciduous woodland. In addition to
the dairy goats, livestock
enterprises include Blonde D’Aquitaine cattle, the Witley Flock of
pedigree Black Welsh Mountain sheep and Saddleback X pigs which live
free range in the woodland. There
are also a few free range laying hens and ducks.
The shop is
stocked with goats’ milk and our award
winning cheeses; tender joints and chops from our own
black lambs (frozen); succulent pork joints, chops and sausages; free-range
eggs and jars of honey.
