Our Milking Parlour and Dairy

 

 

 


The goats are milked twice daily in our purpose-built milking parlour.  We do not pasteurise the milk because we find that our customers prefer to have it unprocessed.  Cheese is also made from raw milk.  For these reasons we take every precaution to ensure that our products are not contaminated.

 

Our milking and cheesemaking facilities are tiny when compared with those of most producers.  Highest priority is given to the production of clean, sweet milk.

 

Our hand made cheeses reflect the hygienic environs in which we work, the health of our animals, and our great pleasure in producing excellent speciality cheeses.

 

We were amongst the first producers to adopt the Food Standards Agency Food Safety Workbook.
